Overview

Whole dried basil (Ocimum basilicum) leaves with a warm, sweetly aromatic, faintly aniseed character that rehydrates well in cooking. They are used to season sauces, soups, dressings and Mediterranean dishes, and to flavour herbal infusions. Available in bulk and for private label to seasoning houses and food manufacturers.
