Overview
Whole dried flowers of the bael tree (Aegle marmelos), known in Sri Lanka as beli mal, with a soft floral aroma that yields a clear amber, caffeine-free infusion. They are brewed as a traditional herbal drink, served hot or chilled and sometimes sweetened. Available in bulk and for private-label herbal-tea packers.
